More than 25 years ago, Johnny Baba picked up his clippers and started cutting hair – not for the trend, but for the love of barbering. His mission was clear: keep the traditional barber craft alive, but give it a fresh, modern edge.
In 2003, he opened his first barbershop in Limerick City, Ireland. His sharp style and no-nonsense attitude quickly drew attention. Soon, clients were traveling across the country to get a seat at what became known as “BABA’S HOUSE.”
Seeing the rise of men’s grooming, Johnny expanded to the UK. In 2013, he opened the first Barber Barber in Barton Arcade, Manchester – and that’s where the real movement began. Barber Barber isn’t just a brand – it’s a new way of experiencing the barbershop.
